Green Gold Animation Founder & Managing Director Rajiv Chilaka shared, "We have started to setup Green Gold Stores which would be a chain of specialty stores selling only Green Gold related items, some of them exclusive. Green Gold Store is a business unit of Green Gold Licensing & Merchandising India, Pvt. Ltd. Thanks to our hugely popular shows, we at Green Gold managed to establish a very strong Licensing & Merchandising company actively involved in getting new products released regularly. With our exclusive store we would be in better position to maximize value of our products. We opened our first store in Hyderabad."

The Green Gold Store is selling Apparel, Comics, DVDs, Watches, Mugs, Photo-frames, Key Chains, Magnets, School Bags, Labels, Stickers, Tattoos, Masks and other Gift items. All of the merchandise is based on Green Gold‘s characters Chhota Bheem, Krishna Balram and Chorr Police.

Rajiv further shares, "I think this is right time for us to invest as most Kids stores in India are doing well and overall the industry is growing rapidly. This store is a pilot project for us and we have plans to expand it to other cities soon. Our aim is to reach a target of 6 centers by the end of the year 2011. To start with, we plan to open stores in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Chennai and Lucknow."

Green Gold is also looking at taking the stores to a franchisee model. Rajiv says, "Franchising would definitely play an important role in the growth and the success of our brand. We are opting for the franchise route as this is the best way to expand the business successfully."

"In the near future we are planning to open our stores across all cities and towns in India. Having our own store is a dream that we saw 10 years ago. It‘s an emotional moment for us and we are happy that our store can take Kids closer to the characters that we have created over the years," He concluded.

Overview of Bakery Relight™

Bakery Relight™ is a relighting and rendering suite tailored for the production of 3D feature films. Our software has been designed from the get-go to hone the lighter's workflow. Instead of having a 3D program coupled with a separate renderer, we propose constant interactive visual feedback in the rendering engine itself. Thanks to a fully multithreaded implementation of state-of-the-art rendering algorithms, combined with a unique caching mechanism of our own recipe, lighting iterations that would take minutes or even hours with a traditional approach can be performed in seconds. It is composed of three main components: An interactive lighting application. A rendering engine. A set of auxiliary tools for efficiently managing the entire lighting process: Command line tools for batch processing. Interactive tools for visualizing the data generated at each step of the rendering process. Conversion tools from 3rd party formats (...
